Custom Polls start from scratch, so we can work with you to design a survey around your specific strategic questions, district, and audience. Custom Polls take a little longer and involve more collaboration, and they’re built to answer questions a proven, pre-built survey can’t and also come accompanied with a strategic memo or briefing from a polling analyst.

Most Custom Poll engagements move from kickoff to results delivery in 6–9 days. We typically field over 4-6 days, and results usually land in your Portal a day or two after that, depending on the complexity of the questions. Many engagements move faster than this: we can get into the field on the same day as the kickoff call when speed is the priority. A streamlined approval process helps keep things moving, and we provide a clear timeline at the start of every engagement and keep you updated every step of the way.

Every Custom Poll includes toplines, full crosstabs, and a briefing or analysis memo with your pollster. Results are delivered through the Data Portal, where your team can dig into the data in depth. For more complex engagements, we can also provide additional memos and briefings. We’ll recommend the deliverables that best fit your goals.

Yes. Creative testing of ads, messages, and mailers can be built into a Custom Poll. Voices Qualitative research can run before, alongside, or after a Custom Poll to add depth to the findings. Many clients combine both approaches for a fuller picture.
