Biden, Warren, and Sanders Lead the Tennessee Democratic Primary
Joe Biden leads the Tennessee Democratic primary, polling at 34%; Elizabeth Warren (18%) and Bernie Sanders (16%) sit in second and third place, respectively. They are followed by Pete Buttigieg (12%), Kamala Harris (7%), Beto O’Rourke (4%), Andrew Yang (3%), and Cory Booker (2%). All other candidates poll at 1% or less.

Biden leads among all age groups, except 18-34 year olds, who prefer Sanders (26%). Close behind among 18-34 year olds are Buttigieg (16%) and Warren (14%). Biden has the largest lead among 50-64 year olds (44%), 22 points ahead of Warren (22%).
Biden polls at 52% among black Democratic primary voters in Tennessee, holding a 38-point lead over Warren (14%), and Harris (11%). Biden’s lead is narrower among white voters, polling at 26% and followed by Warren (21%), Sanders (19%), and Buttigieg (17%).

That sample includes 688 Democratic primary voters, with a margin of error of ± 3.7% for the Democratic sample. The survey was conducted online, using Change Research’s Bias Correct Engine.
